Micro-Trains N 02500306 50′ Rib Side Box Car With Single Door And No Roofwalk, Union Pacific #230821

Built in the 1970s for Golden West Service, this single-door cushioned underframe car with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was later re-painted and re-lettered under the ownership of Union Pacific, but retained an SP reporting mark. Southern Pacific was a Class 1 railroad from 1865 until 1996, when it was absorbed by Union Pacific after falling on hard times financially in the 1970s and 1980s.
